2012 AGM
The 2012 Judo BC Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, June 16th at the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre, 73111 Westminster Hwy, Richmond. We ask that you review the Registration Package carefully in order to adhere to the published deadlines which affect ALL voting member. First deadline- Funded Voting Members Registration form due April 23rd.
Spring Inter-Provincial Camp
The 2012 Inter-Provincial Camp is schedule for June 1st to 3rd in Canmore, Alberta. This camp will focus on preparing for the 2012 Nationals. As such, registration is only open to male and female U15, U17, U20 and senior athletes with a minimum rank of sankyu (green belt) who are members in good standing with Judo BC. Click here for a copy of the registration forms. Deadline for registration is April 30th.

The Technical Committee has published the list of Junior and Senior athletes who have qualified to represent BC at the 2012 Canadian Championships will be held in Toronto, July 5th to 8th. Click her for the list and the team registration packages. Click here for a copy. Registration deadline is May 14th.
Master and Kata athletes interested in participating in this year's nationals also need to complete the registration package. Click here for a copy. Registration deadline is May 14th.

Nuno Delgado to be Guest Speaker at Judo BC Coaching Conference
Judo BC will be hosting a Coaching Conference October 26th to 28th in Squamish, BC. The conference will be open to Judo BC members as well as Judo Canada and IJF registered members. Registration will be $250 for BC members. Full conference details will be published on the Judo BC website later this week.

Judo BC will be hosting a one-week Summer Training Camp August 12th to 17th in Abbotsford, BC. The camp will be open to all U11 to U20 athlete, minimum rank yellow belt, and will be comprised of on mat training sessions and practical seminars on nutrition, sport psychology, strength and condition training and much more. Camp participation will be divided into age appropriate groups to maximize everyone’s learning experience. Senior athletes will be invited to participate in the camp as guest instructors and mentors. Registration will offer both an in-residence option, for out of town athletes, as well as day-camp option. Look for more details in early May.
