Hane Goshi
Hane goshi is called the spring hip thow and involves entering and loading Uke on the hip by pulling him hard toward your side. In Hane-Goshi Tori's leg is placed with a slight bend over Uke's knee, then when executing the throw it bears some of Uke's weight and helps rolling Uke over Tori's hip. The weight bearing leg creats a spring action through a ballistic movement.
Demonstrations of correct bio mechanical actions and positioning for the technique, breaking of balance, entry and completion of the waza. The Tsuri Goshi is a related waza to be covered in lesson plan.
- Lesson discussed and demonstrated the Key Points (Yoten).
- Also discussed and demonstrated are significant areas of concern that would allow Uke to counter Tori
