50th Anniversary Celebration
This is a friendly reminder to please share with us a favourite story or memory from your involvement in Judo. It can be anything from the first time you stepped into the dojo to your proudest moment as a judoka, instructor, sensei, volunteer, parent or official to the funniest thing you have experienced in Judo. In addition, we would love to hear what Judo means to you (or your child) and the story of when you first realized that Judo was your passion. Even if you just started Judo this season we would love to hear from you.

Any great photo you have or your Judo Canada passport photo are welcomed! Please contact the office.

All members who submit content for the commemorative booklet will get their name entered into a draw to win a special Judo BC prize!

National Volunteer Week
In recognition of National volunteer week and the recent Prestige CSTA award and on behalf of Judo BC, I would like to thank all of the judokas, coaches, officials, dignitaries, friends, family and spectators of the 2013 Canadian Judo Championships. This four day event brought together the top judokas from across the country and fulfilled all expectations of being a thrilling competition. This event was only possible because we had such impressive volunteers. Judo BC is extremely appreciative and feels very fortunate to have such wonderful people from across the province supporting our events.

Thanks,

Sandy Kent
President – Judo BC
