Happy Holidays


The Judo BC office will be closed for the holidays from December 24th – January 1st. Reopening on Wednesday, January 2nd. We will be monitoring messages and will respond to urgent matters. All other messages will be responded to the week of January 2nd.

Northern Region Training Camp Announced
In preparation for the upcoming tournament season, Judo BC Head Coach, Bruce Kamstra, and the Prince George Judo club will host a northern region training camp on January 11-13, 2013. Cost is $25 per participant. NCCP certified coaches are free. This event can be used as Professional Development to maintain your NCCP certification if you participate in all sessions. Call for Volunteers for Nationals
Volunteers needed for the 2013 National Judo Championships being held at the Richmond Olympic Oval, July 4 – 10. If you are interested in helping during the event or ahead of time please send us an email at info@judobc.ca. We look forward to having you be a part of this great event!

Registration is now open for the Dojo Assistant course being held in January 2013 in Vernon and the Dojo Instructor course scheduled for Kamloops in May 2013 – revised date. Click here for course information and registration forms.

Pacific International 2013
The Steveston Judo Club cordially invites Judokas to participate in their 28 th annual Pacific International Invitational Judo Tournament being held on February 16, 2013 at the Richmond Olympic Oval. We expect a contingent from Tokai University, Japan as well as competitors from the US, Brazil and from all across Canada. Click here for the technical package and registration form.
